Kauksi beach forest campsite
Ida-Viru County, Northern Shore of Lake Peipus Recreation Area

The campsite with clean, "singing" sands is located in one of the most beautiful tourist areas on the northern shore of Lake Peipus.

Driving directions | Drive
47 km along Jõhvi–Tartu road, turn left at the Kauksi bus stop (sign to Visitor Centre of Alutaguse National park). Drive 800 m towards Lake Peipus up to the road turn.
Keep on the road going straight ahead and drive through the gate; the campsite
is to the right of the road. Please note that this is an area for public
outdoor events; advance booking and prior consent of the managers of the recreation
area is required to use it. |
